Mekong Computers — computer store

Concept build. Mekong Computers is a fictional computer shop, built to show the Showcase package at the top of its range. Nothing on the site is for sale.

The brief is a considered purchase: nobody buys a $2,000 laptop from four photographs. Every machine gets a full specification table, an honest note on what it is not good for, and a price on the listing.

What it demonstrates

• Products grouped by job — laptops, workstations, monitors and docks — rather than by manufacturer.
• Full specification tables per product, the level of detail a buyer at this price actually reads.
• A dark amber theme, a fifth distinct design from the same codebase.
• Serviceability stated as a selling point: which parts are stocked, what a repair costs in days.
